- What does iS3 actually do?
- iS3 is my consultancy. We help UK businesses adopt Ai the right way round: fix the process and the data first, then apply Ai where it earns its place, with governance built in from the start rather than bolted on at the end. Most engagements start with a readiness assessment and end with a system that is actually in use.
- Do I need to be "ready" for Ai before we talk?
- No. Most businesses I work with are not, and that is the point of starting with an honest readiness assessment. Often the first job is digitising and tidying the data, not buying an Ai tool. You do not need to have it figured out before we speak.
- Will Ai replace my team?
- Used well, no. Ai is best at the mundane, repetitive work, and taking that off people frees them up for the part of the job a machine cannot do, which is usually the human contact with your customer. The projects that fail are the ones that treat Ai as a way to cut people rather than to lift them.
- How do you charge?
- Every engagement starts with a scoped discovery so the price matches the work. The common shapes are a fixed-price readiness assessment, a project build, or fractional leadership when you need senior direction without a full-time hire. You will know the number before anything starts.
- What makes you different from other Ai consultants?
- I am a Chartered Engineer who spent a career in regulated industry before this, so I bring the discipline of aerospace and ISO management systems to Ai. I do not stop at a strategy document. iS3 builds the system, sets the decision boundaries, and stays to make sure it works, with audit evidence produced as part of the build.
